Counsellor – Siew Han
As a counsellor, Siew Han adopts a humanistic and emphatic stance when helping individuals empower themselves. She believes that people have the capacity of solving their own problems, and sees her role as assisting individuals to identify obstacles and overcome struggles in their paths.
Working mainly from a multidisciplinary framework, she tailors each client’s treatment according to their needs and integrates elements from different approaches such as psychodynamic, cognitive & behavioural, interpersonal, and/or skills based when needed. She is passionate in guiding clients to achieve better insight to their lives and helping individuals to improve on interpersonal skills to better connect with important people in their lives. Prior to starting private practice as a counsellor, Siew Han has accumulated experience in both school (for the intellectually disabled), and inpatient hospital settings.
Siew Han holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has had received training in Cognitive & Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches. To ensure that clients receive the best care, she is committed to continuing professional development, supervision and collaboration with other professionals. Siew Han is a member of the Association of Psychotherapist and Counsellors (APAC) in Singapore.

Counsellor – Mimi
Mimi Syjuco offers counselling and psychotherapy across different life stages. She has experience working with children, teenagers and adults and tailors the pace and therapeutic approaches to the unique needs of her clients. Mimi is committed to providing a warm, safe and caring therapeutic environment to promote positive transformation.
Drawing on many years of training and experience as an educator, Mimi’s work with children, teens and young adults focuses on social, emotional and behavioural challenges. She helps her young clients with emotion regulation, managing fears and anxieties, developing age- appropriate social skills, growth mind- set and self-esteem. Mimi also provides support for ADHD, anger management, Third Culture Kid identity issues, and parental relationship issues. Her work with adults focuses on anxiety, depression, stress management, self- development, reproductive mental and emotional well-being, life adjustments and transitions.
Mimi holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and has received training in fertility coaching, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, NLP, Person-centered and Cognitive Behavioural therapies. Mimi has given talks and workshops on parenting and stress-management and is currently working on research to improve women’s reproductive mental well-being in Singapore. She is a member of the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (APACS) in Singapore and the American School Counselors Association.
