While relationship counselling is often associated with couples, it can also be highly beneficial for individuals who want to improve their relationships—whether with a partner, family member, friend, or even themselves.

Difficulties in sustaining meaningful interpersonal relationships can arise in any of our interaction with others; in our intimate relationships, in social settings, and within work organisations. Prolonged RELATIONSHIP issues can lead to isolation, loneliness, and even despair as we are social beings.

Some of us may have issues in the realm of intimacy, and the idea of being close with others can result in anxiety. This fear of intimacy can result in a lack of success in developing and maintaining gratifying relationships

Your counsellor will work with you to explore any barriers you may have in a forming meaningful relationships.

The work focuses on helping individuals gain insight into their relationship patterns, improve communication skills, heal from past emotional wounds, build self-confidence, set healthy boundaries, and create stronger, more fulfilling connections with others.
