“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awak “Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” — Carl Jung
When we focus only on the external world (what others expect of us, material success, appearances), we can live in illusions or borrowed identities. But Jung reminds us that true awakening doesn’t come from the outside. True awareness and growth come from introspection, exploring our unconscious, our thoughts, feelings, and the parts of ourselves we usually keep hidden and facing our inner truths.
Looking within can be uncomfortable, but it’s also where real clarity and growth begin.

When we are feeling overwhelmed, it can be hard se When we are feeling overwhelmed, it can be hard see the future ...
Imagine you're in a dense, fog-covered forest. You can barely see a few steps ahead of you. If you try to look too far into the distance, you’ll only see more fog and might feel overwhelmed by the uncertainty. But if you focus on the small circle of light created by your lantern, you can clearly see the next few steps you need to take. As you move forward, the lantern illuminates more of the path, allowing you to progress steadily and safely through the forest.

In the same way, by concentrating on the present day and the immediate tasks at hand, you can navigate life's challenges more effectively, without being overwhelmed by the unknown future.

Peter Levine, a well-known expert in the field of Peter Levine, a well-known expert in the field of trauma therapy and developer of the Somatic Experiencing (SE) approach, recommends the "Voo breathing" technique as part of his Somatic Experiencing approach to trauma healing.

This practice is intended to help calm the nervous system, by facilitating the release of pent-up tension or trauma held in the body.

The "Voo breathing" technique can be useful for regulating the vagus nerve, which plays a crucial role in the parasympathetic nervous system and is involved in the body's relaxation response.

In short, the technique involves making a long, deep "voo" sound while exhaling.

To start, take a slow, even, deep breath in through your nose, focus on expanding your abdomen and chest as you inhale, allowing your body to fill with air.
As you exhale, make a long, deep steady "voo" sound from deep in your gut. It may take some practice to find a comfortable pitch for you.
As you make the sound, imagine the vibration traveling through your body, particularly in your chest and abdomen. Feel the sensation of the sound as it resonates within you.
Continue the cycle of inhaling deeply and exhaling with the "voo" sound for several minutes. You can repeat the process for as long as it feels comfortable and beneficial.

Make your mind a priority, because your well-being Make your mind a priority, because your well-being matters.
Mental health is an integral part of our overall well-being. Just as we prioritize physical health to live a fulfilling life, it pays to also prioritize mental health. Good mental health allows us to function effectively, cope with the stresses of life, and maintain healthy relationships.

This quote is attributed to the 13th-century poet This quote is attributed to the 13th-century poet Rumi, it beautifully encapsulates a profound idea about the nature of love and personal growth.

This quote encourages introspection and self-awareness as essential steps on the journey toward love.

It invites us to explore the inner landscape of our hearts and minds, uncovering and dismantling the walls that we've erected out of fear or pain.

In essence, the quote reminds us that love is not something to be chased after or sought outside of ourselves but rather a state of being that arises when we remove the obstacles that obstruct its flow. It's a call to inner transformation and healing, paving the way for love to enter our lives naturally and effortlessly.
